A black and white girl in a black and white world. Laura lost herself in a cold and unforgiving land. The Player's mission is to guide Laura through the harsh environments as they pick up color giving her new meaning in life. Would the player provide Laura a future with color or a future that is only gray...
This game was made for the My First Game Jam 2023, we hope you guys enjoy!
Gameplay
A 2d pixel platformer with 5 levels to explore in. Throughout some levels, players will be able to unlock new mechanics to better traverse the environment as the encounters get more challenging. There's also a little cutscene at the end to provide the player with accomplishment!
Controls
AD / ⮜ ⮞ = Move
W / ⮝ = Jump or Use Door
Escape = Full Screen
P = Pause
More control options will be available as you progress!

Side note: the webgl may have some hiccups in audio on rare occasions. If you want to experience the game with no hiccups, the Windows download would be the play.

very fun game had a bunch of fun playing it, very good addition that the title screen gets colored in once you complete the game good attention to detail, idea was great and i loved seeing myself get more and more color

Excellent game, very polished considering the short time it was developed. The only problem I have is that the sound was very low (maybe it's just me), but other than that the game is great c:
Thanks! I went all out on the polish to make it feel good playing. Did you change the audio volume in the Options screen? That's the only way I can see it being very low volume

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you found it enjoyable! The sprite being updated all throughout is what made the immersion truly possible and it brought a smile to my face when I first saw it in action lol
